Today, September 28, 2010, the TELUS, in cooperation with Globe Telecom, launched a one-day long free text messaging for Globe users. To avail of this free unlimited Globe-to-Globe texting service, just type in UNLITXT TELUS and send it to 8888.
I don't know why Telus is doing this, but something fishy (promotional) is intensely bursting out of my mind. Hope nothing bad happens in the days that are to come. Could it be that Telus is going to be a subsidiary of Globe Telecom?
My friends were really shocked in surprise that what was thought to be a scam was actually true, and people everywhere are talking about it. It's not fake, however, I'm still finding it hard to access the service as more and more people are becoming aware of this unlimited texting opportunity.
I also thought that it's a scam but surprisingly I'm able to get my unlitxt for free.
